First thing to do is make sure that you do indeed have a break.
If this is the case the problem may be in your collar or transmitter.
If your fence is still alarming the break is somewhere in the twisted pair.

How to find a break in an invisible fence using a wire locator the most common way to find a break is to use an underground locator.
There are a few ways to do this.
Touch the tips of the metal legs to the ends of your twisted dog fence wire.
You may also notice that your receiver collars are no longer reacting when you approach the wire.
This should complete the loop and make your fence transmitter work.
Performing a short loop test.
The easiest way to fix a wire break in your dogwatch hidden fence is to call your local dogwatch dealer.
If a wire should break your transmitter box will let you know by incessantly beeping and flashing.
Reconnect your dog fence wires at the transmitter then connect your two wires from the twisted pair.
If your dog fence starts working the break is somewhere in the outside loop.
On my unit two wires run from the transmitter to the perimeter fence.
